Re: 7/11
Nice Collector, I just tried it out and the game is running great in ScummVM..Just before you posted, I installed both games and ran them in DOSBox and native Windows as well..They run great either way..ScummVM may be a tad smoother than DOSBox for 7G..Apparently 11th Hour is not yet supported by Sc...

I'm about to install these old classics, but I wanted some opinions on whether to run them in DOSBox, ScummVM, or directly through Windows? Are there any differences? I'd like to play without needing the cds if possible, but I want to hear the red book audio as well. Also are there any patches or an...

Re: tim 3
I actually ended up uninstalling your installer's installation and instead installed from the cd, but either way it says the same thing. The only time that it will let me sign in and save is when it's installed via the cd installer and into the location c:\SIERRA\TIMWIN. But when I move SIERRA\TIMWI...

When I try to sign in, it says "TIM 3 has been installed in a write-protected area. You cannot sign in." Apparently in newer Windows it won't allow you to disable read-only on folders (which I'm guessing would stop this message from popping up). Is there any work around that can allow me t...

Re: Installer doesn't work: Earthsiege II 32-bit Installer
I did run the installer again after those commands and still asks for cd. What exactly do you mean by security software? Do you mean the antivirus, uac, or what? I disabled the antivirus and that didn't work.. Does this installer rip the red book as well? If not I may just stick with the normal cd i...

Re: Installer doesn't work: Earthsiege II 32-bit Installer
Those files were there, but I went ahead and typed in those commands anyway. It said both succeeded. But it still asks for cd and the diag log still reads the same.

Re: Installer doesn't work: Earthsiege II 32-bit Installer
I have a cscript.exe in my System32 folder but it looks like a different version (smaller size). I was going to temporarily rename or delete it, and move yours into there, but it wouldn't let me rename or delete it, so I'm kind of stuck now. Here's the version I have in case you want to take a look..

Re: Install Earthsiege 1 Expansion Pack
I think there may be some confusion because I we're in a topic about the expansion pack. That was my mistake for replying to this topic, when I probably should have made a new one instead that was focused on the cd installer. I do have the floppy version and expansion, but I've only installed the cd...

Re: Install Earthsiege 1 Expansion Pack
Actually I did not apply any patches or the exp pack (your installer wouldn't let me). Only recently did I replace that one speech file, but that file already existed, I was just updating it. I do have the expansion disc, and I found on there all those files you listed, and just now copied them over...

Re: Install Earthsiege 1 Expansion Pack
It looked like one of my speech files was corrupt so I installed the speech pack and I hear voices now. Hopefully the rest of the game will run fine. In any case can you tell me what files I was missing?

Re: Install Earthsiege 1 Expansion Pack
I installed ES1 with your installer and I'm not hearing the speech during the briefings. It's the CD version so speech should be included right? I noticed the size of the installed folder (39mb) is much smaller than the size of the cd contents (168mb) so I'm wondering if it didn't install everything...
