Maybe the audio driver influences things ? (the in resource.cfg) ( I recall there being 2 that work, but one works better ? (at least in general for sierra games, not sure about this one in particular. @collector might know what I am talking about. (thunderboard or so))

well the font is from 93 (I recall from one of the links), so mid-90's seems accurate
