Yesterday night I had successfully installed Gabriel Knight 2 as a DOS in DOSBox. I was able to play it as well. Well, I actually played it in its Software mode, and it got past that scene finally. So the problem was avoidable finally.

The fact that I finally just got to Day 3 and am about to finish the game when it just...crashes, it's like someone really is laughing at me.
