Ok, i didn't know because it looked like garble to me, also when you ask if i selected the DOSBox i thought that was what i was downloading, i'm not very good with computers. It was the first download on the sierra help site when i googled gabriel knight sins of the fathers windows 7.

Where would that be? because everything i click in the game folders tells me it's not compatible with the version i have and the DOSBox Installer just comes on it's own
