I have to admit, that I didn't even know of such a version in the first place Excellent condition the box seems to be in!
Unfortunately though, now one more on my list of what to look for

Re: New Acquisitions Thread (image heavy)
Actually it is pretty incomplete. It has the two original disks in its origirnal sleeves and the Manual. One coupon is missing, only the Droids B us is present. The catalogue is missing, instead there is a early nineties catalogue included. The inner plastic shell is missing. Some ad fliers and a wa...

Re: New Acquisitions Thread (image heavy)
Hi there, has been calm here lately. In an attempt to revive this thread here are some items I was able to acquire during the last couple of weeks. Apart of SQ1 and LSL6 all of them are shrinkwrapped, as an addition to the "open" versions I already own. LSL5, PC VGA LSL5.jpg LSL 6 as the G...

Re: LSL1 Remake: Patch Question
Found this on Al Lowe's Website. So it seems, this case is closed. :-) Larry 5: "1.snd not found" Error This error means that you manually installed the program and didn't copy the files from the BONUS directory on disk #1. The error occurs about halfway through the program when trying to ...

Blue Force 3,5" HD VGA - Disk 2 & 8
Hi there! Yes I know, Blue Force is not Sierra. But as it is from Jim Walls (and probably other Ex-Sierra-employees) and so similar to the Police Quest series I was wondering, if still somebody would be able to help... I am looking for Disk 2 and Disk 8 of the 3,5" HD VGA Version. Game Version ...

Re: Police Quest 3 VGA 3,5"
Thanks a lot!
And yes, I finally checked the german installer. Two minor adjustments, I answered in the corresponding thread. Apart of that it looks absolutely awesome! Great job!

Police Quest 3 VGA 3,5"
Much to my surprise, when I dumped my PQ3 VGA 3,5" Diskset to HDD, I found out, that on Disk 3 is the same content as on the Startup Disk :-( Normally there should be a Resource.003 file and a Version file. As the Version file is the same across all disks: Can somebody provide me with that miss...

Re: 5.25" USB Drive
Just dumped fifteen (!) 5.25" disks with a capacity of 360K each to my Harddrive. Kings Quest 5 in its 16-color glory, Version 0.000.056. WORKS! So much fun! Unbelievable, that all 15 disks did held its content for ~ 23 years well preserved...

Re: 5.25" USB Drive
@Collector: Seemed they had a glitch in their shop, now you can see the three versions again. Cheapest one is the basic edition. No cables and No (Floppy) Power Supply priced 75 UKP. 80 UKP includes Cabling, 90 UKP includes Cabling and Power Supply. @Tawmis: When buying a 3.5" USB Drive make su...

Re: New Acquisitions Thread (image heavy)
Actually this was not a one-time shot but a 2-year effort. PQ2, PQ3 and PQ4 and Blue Force shrinkwrapped I acquired with Amazon US Marketplace. Different sellers, and throught the years. Much cheaper than what you would pay for on EBay, if they would show up there at all. But you have to check regul...

My mistake, I was talking about LSL V EGA. Not LSL 1 Remake EGA. Maybe the Moderator can change the topic?

LSL1 Remake: Patch Question
As I wrote here http://www.sierrahelp.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=78&t=3728 I was able to copy all the disk contents of my LSL 1 Remake 16-Color Version to my HDD. While doing this, I saw that on the so-called "Startup-Disk" there is sub-directory called "Bonus". In this Bonus...

5.25" USB Drive
How cool is that?!?!?? I was searching long time for 5.25" USB drive to be able to read some of my Sierra Disks, to no avail. There doesn't seem to be something like that. But then I found this: http://www.kryoflux.com/ Ordered it, bought a cheap 5.25" internal disk drive on Ebay for 25 US...

Re: New Acquisitions Thread (image heavy)
Did I say that I love Police Quest / Jim Walls?
Police Quest 1-4 + Remake, Codename: Iceman and Blue Force all shrinkwrapped. Additionally PQ3 in EGA and German (My mother tongue).
Not in this picture, but also present: PQ4 in German as well as Blue Force as Disk Version.
