Sorry to revive this thread, but I came across a problem in chapter 5, similar to the one I reported back in 2013. When doing the last puzzle in the game, if I click on the laser knob (the circled area in the image), the game crashes with this error message: Out of Memory: need=3483882839 got=117817...

Not sure if the one from Gamers Hell is safe to use, since I got mine from IGN, when they still had mods available to download for NwN1 & NwN2. You could check out http://neverwintervault.org/ if you still need the patch, or need another patch/mod. Unless you are not looking for additional tweak...

I guess the only temporary fix at the moment involving this problem, is using the save file I uploaded in my first post to view the easter egg, or skipping the scene if they only want to earn those points.

No SVN builds, only using the latest version of DOSBox from dosbox.com.

I only deleted the entries of the applications in the game directory, in case of any problems from reinstalling. Certain games like "The Sims" had this problem.

I downloaded the same installer in case the one I have might have had some problems related to the crashing.

I removed any leftover entries in the registry of the game after uninstalling, then reinstalled the game, and it's still having the same problem when it zooms in.

Just got VLC, and it plays the file with no issues.

That's alright, but I guess it's not the .CLU file, as it still produces the same problem. Not sure what else could be causing this crash.

I'm guessing the .DUK file is not corrupted, since the game still crashes with the file you uploaded. Could the .CLU file have anything to do with the game crashing?
