It could be King's Quest V on NES, but really.. that had horizontally thick pixels not vertically thick ones..

Wow, I have no idea. Looks like it could be the EGA 16 color, dithered version of an otherwise VGA-era 256 color game? That might narrow it down a bit..

Thanks! The PQ one is one of my favorites. Action-packed. It's weird, I don't remember ever having a hq2x-like option when playing Sierra games. Is this something you can do in recent emulators?
