It could be King's Quest V on NES, but really.. that had horizontally thick pixels not vertically thick ones..

Wow, I have no idea. Looks like it could be the EGA 16 color, dithered version of an otherwise VGA-era 256 color game? That might narrow it down a bit..

Thanks! The PQ one is one of my favorites. Action-packed. And not remembering the end I had to look up a Let's play of it to read the text surrounding it to figure out what the hell actually happens in that scene.. Yes! Cedric in KQ5 is on them list now. It's weird, I don't remember ever having a hq2x-like option when playing Sierra games. Is this something you can do in recent emulators?
