Re: New Acquisitions Thread (image heavy)

I am happy that I found this gem: Japanese release (PC88/98) of HI-RES ADVENTURE #3: Cranston Manor It looks pretty much like the original U.S. release. Funny thing: it´s on two disks instead of one. http://s14.directupload.net/images/140821/temp/3rhraqbn.jpg http://s7.directupload.net/images/140821...

Ohhh... Japanese release of Phantasmagoria 1 arrived today :-) Funny that they renamed/ shorten both titles to Phantasm instead of Phantasmagoria.. http://s7.directupload.net/images/140818/temp/v489tzot.jpg http://s14.directupload.net/images/140818/temp/h4hqcvs6.jpg http://s7.directupload.net/images...

Re: New Acquisitions Thread (image heavy)

Thanks for the info & links. Heard it a little (from your links), dosen't really compare to the MT-32 at all. Even though the MT-32 is a low end version of the D-50, then the CSM-1 surely is an even lower end of the MT-32. Yeah! Have an oldschool system (386er and 486er) to play the old games a...

Re: New Acquisitions Thread (image heavy)

I take it that it is a PC98 game. Yeah. Heh. Interesting. I had seen the "Anime" PQ2 as I call it. How much did it cost you, if you don't mind answering? Well. It was part of a huge lot of PC-98 games that I got the highest bid on at a Japanese auction. That lot plus shipping plus import ...

Re: New Acquisitions Thread (image heavy)

http://s14.directupload.net/images/140718/temp/cizntjyc.jpg The Casio instument in that image, is it a MT-32 clone? Does it say anything about the model name/number? There seems to be a kind of "patch list" on the top of the machine, I wonder if its a GM Midi playback ROMpler? Would be ni...

Re: New Acquisitions Thread (image heavy)

The thing is that the collections often have a lot of extra material not available in the original releases, such as the Sins Of The Fathers novel, Crazy Nick's Software Picks or various behind the scenes videos. They also are often the latest, most bug free version that often have the copy protect...
