I haven't noticed Scummvm for any Sierra games only the usual lucasarts games, (like monkey island) I recently played space quest 1 & 2 and it was also DOSBox, as is quest for glory, but if they are switching over to scummvm then no doubt it will be in the future of the game I forgot to note but...

ok update, I was able to get past this error by using an older download I had of QFG2 from Gog from around 2015 that i had on a usb? So they must have changed something from between then and now that caused this issue, might be something with the version of DOSBox? Not sure

It doesn't launch through scummvm though, it launches DOSBox, I couldn't even get scummvm to work with my saves (Which is probably as you said scummvm saves aren't compatible with original saves) Is there some settings or things I can try within DOSBox? I can upload my saves if that will help you as...
