Re: Damn You Auto Correct!

It's sad how accurate these are - I've actually seen a number of these "corrections" personally, and have sent the single word "Muhammad" on a number of occasions when it auto-corrected from Muhahahaha. I'm not convinced that this is actually helping me in any way.

Re: Silver Lining episode 2

Oh he had actually posted on our forums about the trouble he was having but I hadn't heard anything from him for a few days, so when I saw the post here I wanted to give him a quick tip that might help. I certainly don't want to hijack this into being a tech support thread but I do want him to be ab...

Re: Silver Lining episode 2

I still can't get it to run. I'm not sure whether this utility will help in your situation or not but it may - it makes Windows forget that there were failed installation attempt from an MSI package so they can re-install from scratch. http://majorgeeks.com/Windows_Installer_CleanUp_Utility_d4459.h...

Re: Silver Lining episode 2

Definitely do and let us know what you think - we already have some more adjustments in the mix for Episode 3 based on early feedback and have plenty of room for more.

Re: QFG3 Paladin -- stuck

For some reason the Paladin path seems to be far more buggy than the others in QFG3. Which is unfortunate, because the concept of getting that special class only by progressing through the games in a particular way is great. It'd be my favorite if it weren't so glitchy.

Re: Silver Lining episode 2

The original Windows 7 patch remains the same as ever - if you installed it before you won't have to install it again for later episodes. It may be a bit before we have the standalone installer that just installs Episode 2 and patches Episode 1 - our main focus has been getting both of them all patc...

Re: The TSL critique thread

"Sometimes it’s not possible to click through talk sequences so you are forced to listen to Oberon’s farewell every time." We are trying to clean this up as much as possible too - making as many lines as possible skippable. Sometimes they're still not skippable as there is a particular ani...

Oh man that's absolutely true, and some of the most entertaining deaths in those games were connected to the smell and taste icons.

Re: Silver Lining website refuses to load on my computer!

That's actually a really good question. I haven't ever had any trouble accessing it from any location so it didn't even occur to me. Do you have a firewall running Arjak?

What version of Internet Explorer are you using? I believe our site requires at least IE7 or Firefox 3.6 with Java fairly recently updated.

Re: The Silver Lining intro

I'll agree that our pathfinding does need more work - it can be pretty tough at times to get some of that stuff to work the way you want it to but we're trying to clean it up a bit for the next episode.
