Re: AGDI Unveils King's Quest III Redux!
I'm also surprised at easily I found myself dying. Here I am, picking up an eagle feather and going on my merry way, only to... walk right off a cliff! No path tracing or anything! Just like ye olde days! Yeah, that outcropping required a fairly accurate click the walk off. It's true there's no inv...

When KQ3 Redux was founded, IA did not even exist yet.

Re: The Silver Lining - Ceased and Desisted
The way I picture things, when they finally got around to it, they just brushed aside eight years worth of work because they didn't want to bother faxing a couple pieces of paper. "Faxing a couple of pieces of paper"? What papers? When we submitted QFG2VGA for review, we mailed a CD to th...

Re: King's Quest II VGA
Unfortunately not. I've heard there's still quite a few lines that require lipsyncing. (one of the new features) We'll probably know fairly soon when the new build of KQ1VGA is released. And funny you should mention the "slapped togetherness" of KQ2. Lori Cole told us that that WAS basical...

Re: King's Quest II VGA
It was never meant to be an official take. Simply a fanon-retelling of an old story. That said, if you enjoyed it, keep an eye on the AGDI site. We're expecting to release an updated version of the game that's well worth replaying. http://www.agdiforums.com/forum/images/avatars/moodpics/Nashshp.jpg

Re: How Do YOU Play Quest for Glory?
I usually play all four classes. Each class has its own unique mindset and outlook upon the world, so I see Fighters and Paladins as two separate paths, even though they overlap most of the time.

Re: MoE, KQ or Not?
Well, Dune1 was an adventure-like game and Dune2 was an RTS. Both were Dune-games. Zelda 1 was a top-down adventure-rpg where you collected money and items and Zelda 2 was mostly a platformer-rpg where you gained levels and collected items. Both were Zelda games. KQ1...7 were colorful pure adventure...
