Certainly true, still the us elections also tend to affect us outside of the us far more then say the European Parliament elections next year. Its not strange that the rest of the world is so invested.

I just finished the mini series State Of Play and must say that I cannot recommend it highly enough, if you like your political thrillers with excellent actors.

I must say, I think I have a new favourite in State Of Play, so far I've only watched the first two episodes but I am most definately intrigued.

Personally my issue with Heroes is that for the plots to work the characters have to become utter morons.

Currently some of my favourite tv series are Pushing Daisies (Emerson! is most definately for the win), Battlestar Galactica (current version), Deadwood and Carnivale (sniff, if only they hadn't been cancelled)
