Re: The Brainless Box (aka Television Shows)

A new BBC scifi series has just begun. The second episode is airing right now. Outcasts so far is interesting. The story is still clunky as hell in parts and the cast is doing the best they can with some bad lines on occasion. On the other hand, its new, it looks gorgeous and the cast is quite good....

Re: Are ye ready to set sail wit' Jack Sparrow once more?

On the one hand, eh two and three were terrible.

On the other hand, Penelope Cruz & Ian McShane I have a lot of time for and I do love me some well done popcorn adventure movie.

Another wait and see I guess.

Re: McG to do... Wonder Woman?

http://www.bleedingcool.com/2011/02/01/scoop-david-e-kelleys-wonder-woman-tv-pilot-script-dissected-without-major-spoilers/ More details have leaked about the tv pilot script and I'm sad to say it looks soul destroyingly awful. Really, do they have to use freaking Wonder Woman to make yet another tv...

Re: Superman Movie Reboot

The actor who believe it or not is still on telly practically daily here in a show called Two Guys a Girl and a Pizza Place. Alexander Skarsgard would make an amazing anything  Yes indeed he would  Have you seen one of his earlier Swedish movies, Hundtricket? Quite different from the very ...

Re: Superman Movie Reboot

I thought superman was originally created by a Canadian? :P I think that Mr Bale is Welsh originally to be exact :P Still, I'm a little suprised they went with a Brit. If an American actor was cast as James Bond people would be losing their shit all over the place. To add, isn't Green Lantarn Canadi...

Re: Superman Movie Reboot

Superman is an American icon isn't he? How can they have a British person star as an American icon? Unless he has a decent enough accent. There are quite a few British/Australian/other nations actors playing North American characters. As mentioned, the current Batman and Spiderman actors are Brits,...

Superman Movie Reboot

Honestly, I'd forgotten that there was yet another Superman movie in the works until it started trending on twitter. http://www.deadline.com/2011/01/henry-cavill-chosen-as-new-superman/ Superman has apparantly been cast. Henry Cavill whom I believe previously was best known for The Tudors and being ...

Re: News of Day

Figured to better bring back an existing thread. I've been watching the news coming out of Egypt, Suez looks like a warzone. Cairo's streets are filled with people. Apparantly the army has just been ordered on to the streets to help surpress the protests and a presidential curfew has just started. I...

Re: The Worst Foods and Drinks in America

the poutine link doesn't work. I wish I could say I ate a nice and balanced breakfast each morning. Normally its just a few slices of bread (decent bread though not the white icky stuff =P) with some slices of meat on them. Although far too often those slices of bread will have nutella on them inste...
