Re: Summer of Steam Sales (Camp Activities)
That's how I got the 3 tickets for the scuba gear . Maybe I'll check it out some more then, but I try to limit anything that involves achivements because I'm a bit of a completionist .MusicallyInspired wrote:Every day has at least one free achievement that anyone can get without buying anything

Re: Any Lords of the Realm fans out there?
Wow, normally I'm not the strategy type, but there just was something about the demo of Lotr2 I played that made me buy the game :-). I don't think I ever really got the hang of the gameplay, but i really liked it non the less. i can actually still remember some of the music, I think that was my fav...

Re: New King's Quest from TellTale!
By coincidence I saw this news from teltale. I have to say that I am looking forward to seeing what they come up with. Sure they could ruin the franchise, but they could also revive it. except for at few interface related details, I actually like their Sam and Max games. I actually used to hate the ...

Re: Summer of Steam Sales (Camp Activities)
Besides the prizes, the more achievements you get the more likely you are to get the top ten games in your wishlist. :) Yeah I know... If all the achivements were free I might go for it, but most of the games you need to get achivements in are not in my possession and I'll not buy them just for one...

Re: Summer of Steam Sales (Camp Activities)
My friend used the sale to buy the nancy drew pack and the valve pack for my birthday . I also did 3 of the smaller achivements so I could get the Portal 2 gear, but I'm not really interested in the rest, so I'll probably stop there.

Re: GREY MATTER (News and Potential Spoilers Within!)
I never thought about it that way, however, I still don't remember any form of explanations to the fact (maybe I was just too tired, I seem to remeber playing untill rather late in the night). Anyways, even if they explicitly said it somewhere I'd still think the ending seemed rushed and the culprit...

Re: GREY MATTER (News and Potential Spoilers Within!)
By questions unanswered I meant how the person resonsible did the things they did. It was like the creators couldn't decide what ability this person possessed. Her abilities as revealed in the end don't fit whith what she was capable of earlier in the game. There's a lot of telekinesis going on, but...

Re: Real life adventure idea
What I was thinking was more along the lines of the clues in Gray Matter when looking for the daedalus club, rather than a genuine adventure (Turst me, if I had the money I would build a house of real life puzzles and invetory items people could solve like an amusement park ride). As is I have to th...

Re: Portal 2 Is Out
Just finished playing Portal 2 for the third time since i got it (once for the story, once for the achievements i missed and once for the commentaries). I mostly liked it. There were some minor issues and i was disapointed when I realised that the paint wasn't what sparked the idea for portals, but ...

Re: GREY MATTER (News and Potential Spoilers Within!)
Finished playing it some time ago. It had a belated release here, but i still managed to find it at bargain price even though it was almost new (just shows the decline in the popularity of the genre :-( ) Anyways, I liked it alot. I thought the music was really great at creating an ambience and the ...

Re: Break The Spine.
Some of my most fond childhood memories are of me eating ryebread sandwhiches with ham, cheese and mustard while my mom read the hobbit to me :D (Both the comic and the book). At the moment I'm finishing Wicked. I've owned the book for some time now, along Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister, but I di...

Real life adventure idea
So, I had this idea that it could be funny to make puzzles and post them around the city for people to solve. Kinda like geocaching, but with puzzlesolving instead of just coordinates. I'm even thinking it could be linked to an online community, or someplace where you had to punch in the correct ans...
