[2024] The Many Rooms of the MASQ!

[*The Butler]

Similar to what we've done before - describing what you might do in that room.

To add to the spice - a new rule is in place.

You can only move to rooms adjacent to your current room.

Except in cases where the board notes a secret passage.

If someone goes to the same room you are in - they may ask you a question - but the question MUST be related to the room you are in. So for example, if I am in the kitchen - and someone else posts that they go to the Kitchen (and they're able to from a room next to the kitchen) - they can then ask, "Do you like milk?" (since one might find milk in a kitchen). You might ask a similar question in a dining room. In the billard room you might ask, "Do you like to play pool?" In the library you might ask, "Do you like Tolkien?"

All of your answers - must be answered as if it were the REAL you not as your MASQ personality. (So for example, I wouldn't answer it how I think the Butler from CLUE would answer, I would answer as if it were Tawmis).

This is done to gather clues as to who is behind the MASQ.

And YOU MUST ANSWER even if that person has left the room since.

Everyone begins - in the Dining Room. No one can ask a question until they've left the dining room (from the start) - but can ask if folks end up BACK in the dining room together.

I go to the lounge and peruse the selection of scotches. Nope. Nothing as fine as myself.

I go to the kitchen to find the chef.

I go to the kitchen and take a big, juicy cabbage!

I take the secret passage to the Conservatory. I find a fig tree. Do people think I really taste like one?

Tardy Tardis, appearing slightly late to the game, peers around the Dining Room.
"I see no food here, but I do appreciate a nice dining setup. Maybe I’ll just... move on."
Tardy Tardis heads towards the Kitchen, intrigued by what’s happening in there.
Once in the Kitchen, they look around and ask, "Anyone here prefer cooking or just eating?"

I will go to the lounge to lounge about. For now.

*In the warm ambiance of a cozy lounge, Firiona Vie settles into a plush chair, her posture elegant yet relaxed. The soft crackle of a nearby fireplace casts flickering shadows across her features. She takes a moment to savor the tranquility, allowing the day’s adventures to fade.*

Setting her cup aside, Firiona pulls out a beautifully crafted journal, its pages filled with sketches of her exploits and notes on the creatures she’s encountered. With a quill in hand, she begins to document her thoughts, weaving tales of bravery and friendship, ensuring that the lessons of her adventures are preserved for future generations.

Occasionally, she looks up, engaging in lighthearted conversation with other patrons, sharing stories and laughter, her spirit radiant as she fosters connections in this peaceful haven. In this moment of respite, she embodies the balance of a warrior and a friend, ready to embrace whatever challenges may come next.

I go to the Entrance Hall and leave the house, ready to resume my adventure back to Bulgaria and help my people!

I go to the Billiard Room. This would be the perfect place to enjoy a nice single malt and a game of 8 ball. Alas, no one is here.

Tardy Tardis, now full from taking in the atmosphere of the Kitchen, ponders the next step.

"Hmm, the Ballroom sounds like an excellent place to be fashionably late. Let’s see if anyone’s dancing."

With a curious twirl, Tardy Tardis heads off to the Ballroom.

Upon entering, they gaze around and ask the empty space, “Does anyone here have two left feet, or is this crowd full of naturals?”

I move to the hall - expecting that it might be a wonderful place to meet others.

In a great hall, Firiona Vie would likely immerse herself in a blend of social interaction, strategic planning, and cultural appreciation. ... save there appears to be no one here.
