I've not actually watched the movie, or the additional seasons that came out. I did, however, enjoy the SNL skit they did where they brought in "Beavis & Butthead" so to speak...goatmeal wrote: ↑Tue Dec 17, 2024 8:24 amI thoroughly enjoyed the "Beavis & Butthead Do The Universe" movie when it came out 2 years ago on Paramount+, along the subsequent 2 further seasons of the TV series (new episodes coming to Comedy Central in 2025). That movie made me laugh more in those 87 minutes than anything had in the last 15-20 years...Tawmis wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2024 8:50 pm It's like Beavis & Butthead. I remember watching those all the time when they came out. Now I see an episode, and I am like, "WTF am I watching?"
Similar to Ren & Stimpy - it has the one line that I still think is quotable/funny - "Do you have teepee for my bunghole?"
Other than that, despite the heavy metal references, I am not amused by it anymore.

I haven't watched SNL in well over a decade but will catch some of the "viral" clips, and this was one of them. Definitely enjoyed it!

Re: The "MS Paint Your Favourite Games" Game
I wonder if anyone remembers a cartoon called "Daria", a spin-off from "Beavis and Butt-Head". I remember watching it and enjoying it so much that I got the full DVD set.
Which is odd, because I never enjoyed Beavis and Butt-Head. They were supremely unfunny to me. "She said 'come', huh huh, huh huh."
But I did and do enjoy Daria's dry responses to the vacuous world around her. "Tonight, on Sick Sad World, we ask: could a steady diet of pet food bring out the animal in you? Got a dog-dish full of lurve, tonight, on Sick Sad World!"

Daria was a great spin-off; I just never watched enough of it. What I did see, however, I always enjoyed.

OK, Roger looks like he needs sleep (as usual). But who is the guy on the right? And why is his gun bigger than his head?
