No, I am not in King's Quest IV. :D

But yes, oddly enough, I am in an odd numbered game! :)

Hmm. Are you in an earlier KQ (i.e. KQ1 or KQ3)?

You could have left it open whether it was KQ1 or 3. :)

So it's a death scene. Do you have anything to do with the well? Anything from the well itself to the dragon.

Oh WELL, I could have. But I never like to linger on these things as my turn. So I don't mind. (I don't even have to give clues for this one, but I always do! I think it makes it more interesting!)

However.

I have nothing to do with the well.

I am, however, probably a death that you know well.

I don't know KQ1 all that well, so I actually don't know the death.

Hold on.

Are you the death that happens when Graham falls into the water and gets eaten by the alligators?

(That's the only one I know off the top of my head, because it happened to me when I first tried playing KQ1 ... and put me off the game completely) ;)

Yes, I am!

You see me when I am here <--- you can see the alligators
I am your death <-- my hint that it was a death scene
I am one of the pitfalls. <-- one of the pitfalls of lack of perception (the bridge is a pixel wide), but more importantly...

This is a reference to the alligators in the game PITFALL who bare an uncanny resemblance...
Image

So come, and draw near <-- step one pixel too many....
Take your last breath
And obey the sounds of death's calls.

Wait, wait, wait ... I was right?

That was the very first Sierra death I experienced. Even older than Leisure Suit Larry's ... *ahem* ... "experience" with the prostitute (and without the "lubber").

WHAT A PERVERT! :P

I'll have to think about my next one. Hmm ... *thinks; tock tick, tick tock* ;) OK, I have one. Ask away! :D

Are you found in a game with the word "Quest" in the title?
