I'm sorry, but I'm not the whip.
Clue: I would not enjoy being whipped.

Am I misremembering? I totally thought those "orcs" or whatever you want to call them that stand outside the door - come inside the room at some point?
Would not be surprised if I am not remembering correctly.

Oh, those! Yes, you misremembered: those "orcs" (or whatever they are) don't come in. I guess they're scared of Katrina.Tawmis wrote: ↑Thu Jan 23, 2025 5:29 pmAm I misremembering? However ...
Yes! I am. The clues fit:
Why am I here? ...................................... exactly. Why leave the stake next to a vampire?
Mysteriously convenient ........................... this was the complaint of first-time players of QfG4.
Shar, Pei? ............................................. pun on "Sharp, eh?"
Your turn, NBS.

I might be misremembering, but I thought Ad Avis leaves the hammer and stake behind hoping the Hero will kill Katrina.Rath Darkblade wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2025 10:10 pmOh, those! Re: Three Clues - Who Am I?
I don't remember if the game says that Ad Avis does that, but it stands to reason. *nod* There is no exit from the dungeon except to Katrina's bedroom; and who stands to gain from Katrina dying, except Ad Avis?notbobsmith wrote: ↑Fri Jan 24, 2025 11:45 pm I might be misremembering, but I thought Ad Avis leaves the hammer and stake behind hoping the Hero will kill Katrina.
I wasn't sure what to think of that, to be honest, because it "railroads" you to the ending. But on the other hand, if you decide not to travel by night, you'll never finish the game, and you'll just wander around in circles and think "I wonder when this ends..."

Okay, here are my clues:
I will go rampant
The start and end of a deed
But where is the coat?

Re: Three Clues - Who Am I?
This is ridiculous. I posted here yesterday, I KNOW I did ... ... and I know it because I recorded my question in a text file, which I then saved, so I'd have a physical copy of questions and answers to work from. Aggghhh!
Anyway. And my question was ...
Are you in a game with the word "Quest" in the title?
