Just to rule out if he's mean and picked King's Quest 8 Mask of Eternity...
Yes
Well, $%^&, this is going to be a long, long, long, long, long game. I never played more than just that opening area, where everything happens, and he can make his way down the hill. That's where I stopped. Literally, because I could not stand the game - even when it originally came out. And every attempt I've made to return to it - I've confirmed my dislike within that same space amount of time. (And now I can't even get it to run - was gonna try it for my channel, and I thanked the gods that prevented me from being able to run it... though I wonder if ScummVM would allow it. I digress).

Thankfully, SierraChest has screenshots -
https://sierrachest.com/index.php?a=gam ... creenshots

I don't wanna be cheap and say "Are you on this page?" type thing... not yet.

So I see a few common things in those screenshots.

Are you located indoors?
Um, I said "yes" to KQ6.

Oh right. I read that last line of my quote and just saw Mask of Eternity.

So that's a no to being in a house in Mask of Eternity, huh?

You can play it if you have GOG. It's part of their KQ compilation. I played it ... once. :)

Um, there are parts of KQ6 where Alex is outdoors. Many, many parts. So it's a valid question.

Tawmis thought the game was KQ8. I was just correcting him.

But I guess I could still answer the question:

No, not indoors.

Are you something that normally isn't alive (chess piece, log, lettuce, etc)?

Sorry, missed it.

No, not alive.

Not alive and not NORMALLY alive? *thinks hard* What's the difference?

(And whoops! I tried to keep track of these in a text file, but I mixed up the "Three Clues" answers with the "Who Am I? (Yes/No)" answers. Oops!)

Um. I just tried guessing but got confused and guessed something out of GK1. That's what happens when I try to play two games at the same time and with an average of 5.5 hours' sleep per night over the past three nights ... which is especially unfair, because I live alone and don't have kids. ;) (Plus, like I said, I mixed up the two sets of clues. How, I have no idea).

Are you on the island where Alex starts?

The Chess Pieces is a prime example of what I was thinking of. They're not something normally alive, but very much are in the game, since they move and talk on their own.

A log (while a tree may be considered alive), but once it's a log, it's dead - but in the game, very much alive.

Woof. *wipes brow* There are too many locations in KQ6. And there's a heatwave where I am right now, which is not good for thinking.

(Speaking of 'woof': Tawm, any news from your corgi?) :)

NBS, are you ... *thinks* ... on the Isle of the Beast?
