On the other hand, these clues don't make sense:

- Looks like you will have to canvas the area for clues ............................................... unless this has something to do with the canvas sails of the ship?
- Has something to do with art ........................................................................... um, OK ... so the ship moonlights as a post-impressionist artist?

Are you coin that Alexander finds in the treasure box?

I will go rampant .................................................................. there could (and should) be a rampant on the side of the coin. A rampant is a style of heraldry
The start and end of a deed ..................................................... it's a bit of a stretch, but a deed (i.e. a legal deed) starts when you pay a lawyer to draft one
But where is the coat? ............................................................ we're told that Graham's head is on the coin, but we don't see a coat of arms

Found in the open .................................................................. yes, it's found under the plank
Avid players know how to look ................................................... first rule of adventure gaming: always look at everything and pick up everything
Looks like you will have to canvas the area for clues ........................ yes! You have to find it!

Has something to do with art .................................................... coins can have art on them
Not on any of the islands ......................................................... yes! The coin came from the ship, in the box!
Travels with Alexander ............................................................ the coin travelled with Alexander from Daventry ...
