Kings Quest Collection (2006) problems

I know many people have posted to this fact, but when I run the patch the games no longer open in DOSBox. I have tried many of the solutions, including the solution where you install the collection to C:\Sierra instead of C:\Program Files. Im not sure what version I have, only that it is the UK version of the collection.

Start from scratch. Uninstall everything.

1. Install the collection in: C:\Sierra\King's Quest Collection
2. Install the patch in: C:\Sierra\King's Quest Collection
3. Allow the patch to download and install DOSBox.
4. Wait for the KQ7 updater to finish before doing anything else

Open the King's Quest Collection on your desktop and you will find new shortcuts for your King's Quest games.
