SQ6 problem?

So I'm just wondering if any of you have had the same problem in SQ6..

I'm at the part of the game when you enter Stellar Santiago's body and you're climbing through her organs. I walk to the screen with the tape worm and the camera pans downward into the right position where I can see the tape worm, but it continues down until all I can see is black. The game responds, but no matter where I try to walk I end up getting eaten by the worm =\.

The crappiest part is that when I try to restore I assume the menu pops up on the screen above where I can see so I can't load any save points and I have to restart DOSBox...

I've had this problem as well. Off the top of my head, I think a quick fix for it is to turn the screen scrolling off.
