Trouble With QFGV - Closes Randomly

Hi there - new to the forum, long time lover of Sierra games. I recently popped in my old copy of QFGV, installed it, patched it and I'm still getting run-time errors. The most frustrating issue however, comes in the form of the game closing itself.

This happened after Minos had released the big bad, and after I killed the big bad and Elsa says "Let us return to Spielburg for the coronation." I don't quite know how I managed to avoid being thrown off of the game after Minos, but I can't seem to actually complete the game because it always completely quits the game after I beat the end boss.

This is a known problem with QfG5 on modern Windows. Try the solution in this thread.

The work-around works, I'm able to complete the game. I am still getting run time errors via the Dragon's breath, though.
