Way to go Rudy! I consider this game to be the elite treasure of my collection, so I understand how excited you are. I was thrilled when I got mine! Now if one of us can locate a Mystery House. Great job!

Here's the million dollar question for you, Rudy, and for Collector and QuestCollector.
We all know that you guys have gazillions of Sierra games, all of them possibly, but how many of them have you actually played?

Re: New Acquisitions Thread (image heavy)
Too many, and yet, not enough . I estimate there's about a hundred or so in my collection that i haven't touched yet, but i'll get to those in time. That's the problem: they're coming in faster than i can actually play them, and i don't even have the systems for the really old stuff (yet). I'm sure the buying madness will end at one point though. The end is very slowly coming in sight .AndreaDraco wrote:Here's the million dollar question for you, Rudy, and for Collector and QuestCollector.

Before I knew Sierra for what they were (KQ, LSL, etc) - this was one of the very first games I _ever_ played on a computer. (Well other than that text adventure game, whose name I can't remember - but starts you at a temple... it wasn't even on a disk drive... it was a cassette drive, the text adventure game, that is...) But yeah, other than that text adventure game - this was one of the first games I ever played. It belonged to my friend Chuck... those were the days.Rudy wrote:Quite rare, sealed, and cheap too. Congrats.

Re: New Acquisitions Thread (image heavy)
Good question!
The ones I'm sure I haven't played yet are, Gabriel Knight 3, Sid & Al's, Stunt Flyer, Sierra Championship Boxing, Wrath of Denethenor, Sorcerian, Nova 9, Zeliard, Rise of the Dragon, Time Warp of Dr. Brain, Eco Quest 1 and 2, Winnie the Pooh, Alphabet Blocks, Pepper's Adventure in Time, Space Bucks, Rama, and Goblins game, Conquests of the Longbow, Shivers, Phantasmagoria 2.
Are any of these worth playing?

Gabriel Knight 3 is a masterpiece, and it certainly deserves to be played and loved.
Conquests of the Longbow is another masterpiece, a too often overlooked gem that must absolutely be rediscovered and almost the same can be said for Pepper's Adventures in Time, even if the game is slightly geared toward a younger audience.
The two EcoQuest are pretty worthy too, especially the first one.

Does Charlie Daniels play a mean fiddle? Of course!QuestCollector wrote:Are any of these worth playing?
I'm echoing Andrea here, Gabriel Knight 3 is a MUST play. The Ecoquest series are as well. I favor the second (Lost Secret of the Rainforest) over the first because of the setting. Longbow is another goodie to play.
