I saw that Collectors installer supports both the EGA and VGA versions of the game....
Thing is, ive never seen or heard of an EGA version of Longbow. Anybody have it?

Yes. Screenshot. It was part of the deal Sierra had before they created the 16-colour 640x400 dithering driver. When you bought the game, if you didn't have a VGA card, there was a card in the box that you could fill out and send away with the VGA disks and get the EGA version disks mailed back to you.

Re: Longbow EGA
Excellent! Thanks for the screenshot.
And you know, this EGA version looks much better than for example Space Quest III which IS designed for EGA.
Do you have other screenshots for other Sierra with EGA versions?
I'm very interested to see SQ4 in EGA if you have that?

I'd have to disagree with you there. SCI0 EGA games were drawn in EGA with EGA tools. EGA versions of VGA games were converted down from 256 colour scanned paintings to 16 colours with only some minor pixel editing. I think games like SQ3 look better. EGA versions of VGA games look a little messy because of the conversion....though, I still like them.
That wasn't my screenshot. You can view all the EGA versions of every Sierra game on Mobygames. Look it up and go to the screenshots section.
