"Greatest Quest Ever Told" Contest at Infamous Adventures

Here's the link to the forum area at IA with more information and where to look for updates. It's a huge community event to complete a playthrough of every Sierra adventure game from King's Quest I to Gabriel Knight 3 (the last adventure game of 1999), discounting games by sub-companies Coktel Vision or Dynamix and stuff. It's gonna be great. We're planning it out right now, but hope to have it begin sometime soon. I even posted a thread on how to obtain every game possible uncontroversially that's on the playlist. I'm pleased to announce a really exciting Infamous Adventure! Get ready for this one because it's going to be HUGE! And a heap of fun! It's called "The Greatest Quest Ever Told!" and it's a competition to determine, once and for all, what is the single greatest Sierra adventure game.

What do all adventure game forums have in common? They're filled with people's opinions about what is the greatest adventure game ever. So this competition is to determine what is the single, number #1 Sierra adventure game out there. And it'll give people a golden opportunity to give their opinion on every aspect of every Sierra adventure.

We're all Sierra adventure game fans here and we all have our favorites, but it's now time to determine what is the BEST, what is the WORST and what is just floating along in the middle.

It'll be great. Some of us are going to try to livestream our playthroughs so people can watch. It's like a book reading club with adventure games! This'll be great for me personally because I haven't had a chance to run through all my Sierra adventures with my MT-32 and CM-500 yet and some of them I haven't even completed (or started!). So I'm quite looking forward to this. I hope some of you can participate as well.

Seeing as everyone love to talk about these old games and have their own opinions on which was the best Sierra game ever, after it's all said and done we can all discuss what indeed was the best Sierra game ever.

And it's not just about voting on each game! No way, that'd be way too easy! It's about posting meaningful thoughts about these games, being involved in the discussions, asking intelligent questions.

And courtesy of our good friends over at Phoenix Online Studios, you could win a copy of The Silver Lining soundtrack. That's right! A hard round disc-like object which contains all the 1's and 0's required to reproduce the the awesome music which appears in The Silver Lining! Now that is also one heck of a prize!
