Police Quest Collection on Direct2Drive

Post by MusicallyInspired »

I just noticed that the Police Quest Collection is available for purchase at Direct2Drive.com along with King's Quest and Space Quest. Odd that it's not on GoG or Steam as well. Just thought I'd mention it.

Yea that is kinda odd. One would think Activision would want to "keep it in the family", so to speak. I'm sure they got their reasons though...

I get no product on that link.
Maybe they have regional restrictions ?

Odd. it has "This product is available worldwide" on the page. Perhaps a browser issue?

I can't download it either. I can't even see it. The page tells me that the game doesn't exist.

I know that the special edition of the first Monkey Island on Direct2Drive is not available outside North America, maybe it's the same?

Well, as I posted above, it says right on the page "This product is available worldwide". Doesn't mean that they didn't screw up, though.

Definitely sounds like a region thing. If you used a proxy website you'd be able to see it no doubt.
