Well, what can I say except... lesson learned. 
To anyone here from Wisconsin, or the US or... well... anyone who was offended by what I wrote - I apologise unreservedly. In my defense, I can only say that I don't know much about Wisconsin at all - I simply looked up Wisconsin in Wikipedia and got a few facts about it from there (those are the three things I quoted in my post). *blushes*
