The internet has become the SF junkie's paradise. There are so many streaming options anymore that you can watch almost anything you want, whenever you want. This is especially nice as the SciFi channel is dead. The SyFy channel is a worthless junk channel that has nothing more than creature features, ghost hunting garbage and big time "wrestling".
As a little experiment, I wanted to see just how many different SF shows that I could stream at once. Here is the result. Number 8 might mean something to QfG fans.

#8 looks like Sliders (don't know the connection to QfG), however #9 I've been watching this week - 1st episode of Hitch-Hikers Guide to the Galaxy, one of my all time favorites (the series beats the pants off of the recent movie). Just finished it up last night. I could watch that every 6 months. And then move on to Red Dwarf, first 2-3 seasons or so.
Just recalled my favorite quote from HH - 'Time is a delusion, lunchtime doubly so'.

I recognized it as Sliders, but it took me a minute to remember the connection. John Rhys Davies is the narrator for QfG4.
I recognized the various Star Trek ones and Stargate, as well as Sliders, but not the others.

Re: SF Junkie's Paradise
I recognized Stargate and a couple of others... Alas, no Battlestar Galactica!
Talk to coffee? Even Gabriel isn't that addicted!
Re: SF Junkie's Paradise
I numbered each one. Try guessing which is what.

I would have thought that there would have been more science fiction fans here. These were not obscure shows.

Oh, guess out loud... I concur with Dot, except for #10 which I don't know. Also not sure what flavor of Stargate...Collector wrote:I would have thought that there would have been more science fiction fans here. These were not obscure shows.
Re: SF Junkie's Paradise
Dot got it. Babylon 5 was a series from the mid to late nineties. It was popular enough to last 5 full seasons and spawn a spin off and several movies.

I got them all right? How geeky is that?
Although I really didn't know Sliders and Hitchhikers, I just went along with the crowd on those.
