Favorite Sierra musical track

A lot of tracks from KQ6 jump into mind for this one. Most notably:-

-The Castle of the Crown Theme
-Cassima's Theme
-The Catacombs
-The Lord of the Dead
-And climbing the Cliffs of Logic. It's just ten notes that play every time you take four steps, but I will hum it whenever I want to make them nervous.

From other games:

-Erana's Peace (QFG)
-The SQ3 Intro (heck yeah!)
-The Boardwalk Theme and Patti's Synthesizer Demo (LSL5)
-KQ4's Point Music
-and of course, Greensleeves

Do you mean Girl in the Tower or Cassima's Theme from KQ5? Beauty's Theme is also really nice.

I do mean the in-game theme, but there's a few variations on Cassima's KQ5 theme in KQ6, and I like them all better than "Girl in the Tower." A lot of songs in the soundtrack all seem to derive from that one piece. I also really like the credit music for the intro, when the main titles appear. The dark foreboding music is just so darn epic.

Also forgot to mention the original GK1 theme. Definitely one of my favorites.

Girl In The Tower was an idea I came up with when I found out that King's Quest VI was going to be a love story between Alexander and Cassima. I thought this would be a perfect opportunity to write a top 40 type love ballad to be sung as a duet. As I explored the possibilities, I found some of the motifs from the original Cassima theme worked well in this style...

I agree Camelot has lots of good tunes. If I had to pick one, it would probably be the bazaar tune, if I'm remembering correctly. For King's Quest... it's probably the title music for King's Quest 3 (Apple IIgs version) with the IIgs version of King's Quest 1 being up there too. But King's Quest 5 and 6 had great music, I just can't pick anything in particular right now.

But my all time favorite music is Quest for Glory 1, particularly the main theme and the character selection theme.
