Fan Fics

I can't seem to find this story online anywhere, but I was able to find it on one of my DVDs I burned a few years ago. Don't know if there's a specific place for fanfics, but this one definitely deserves preserving in my opinion!

You can just post the story here as a regular post. If there are enough fanfics posted we can setup a forum for them.

Hmm. I think that a forum for QfG fanfics, songs, top ten lists and other silliness is long overdue. I for one would read and comment on them, and post my own.

However, I would ask that if people wish to post Sierra fanfics, can they please post one chapter at a time. That makes it easier to read and make comments. If a fanfic is posted all at once (as in here), it becomes a huge slab of text that no-one could read without considerable eye strain (at least in my experience and IMNSHO).

So can we please, please, pretty please set up a forum just for QfG fanfics/songs/etc.? Please?

Maybe a forum for general Sierra fanfics/songs/etc... it would be more efficient. I know that many on the GK Board had fanfics to share and I should have an old one myself, along with a couple of haikus

I have said all along that if we start getting fan fics I'll setup a forum to move them to. I don't want to make a forum that only has a couple of threads in it.

We could, with the authors' permission, import the fanfics published on the other board, like the GK4 Campaign one.

I would rather that they, themselves repost here. It would allow them to post chapter by chapter and answer any feedback. If you feel like it, post a request on the GK board. I would just as soon move things from there to here, anyway. Being the only one to take care of that board and not having FTP access with outdated software has become a headache. I think it would take the reemergence of Alm to reinvigorate it, which seems unlikely to happen, at least anytime soon, if at all. I do miss her, though.

I don't want to step on Elsa's toes and ask on the QfMG board. It might come across as poaching. She is still very much involved with her board, even if it does not see as much traffic as it did at one time, but some of its members are members here, too. Most of them are Community members, too. They are free to post anything they have, even if they have previously posted it elsewhere.

I seem to recall there being KQ fan fics on the old WebX board, but cannot think of any other sources. I don't think that I have ever seen much Sierra fan fics outside of those series. I'll setup the forum if any agree to post their stuff or we start getting more fan fic posts.

Knowing me, I will write some myself, just to kill time and save my brain cells... since writing helps center me during stressful times... which these days, seem to be coming in tidal waves.
