I might have one, but it would not be that recent. I don't have a copy of the style. She was going to give me FTP access, but disappeared again before she did.

I will shoot her an email. Might be awhile before I hear back again.

I have looked through the files on my PC, but I don't think I downloaded a backup. Without FTP access it didn't seem to make much sense. If they are gone from the backup folder, the forum may be gone. You can't administer a forum without someone around that has FTP access. I have given up on being able to contact Almirena. Of course the GK fans are more than welcome to post here.

Even when the forum was up and running, I spent most of my internet time here rather than on the GK board because this is where the true Sierra community is (well, here and on the Sierra Chest). Still, the GK forum was nice and a lot of time and energy was spent in getting it up to speed, with many interesting posts (the vast majority provided by our very own Tawmis) and GK-related trivia and games. Moreover, Almirena also started archiving the old material from the official board and now I suspect that those ancient threads are lost too. And while I perfectly understand the personal reasons behind Almirena's disappearance, unfortunately she left us in a bad situation. It would have been quick and simple to give you, Collector, or any of us FTP access to her Sierra-related websites and it would have saved two or more years of really interesting discussions. And the GK community as well: many users of that forum never made it here and it's a shame that the only place solely dedicated to the legacy of Gabriel Knight on the net is now lost. I'm sad :(

Say WHAT? When do I ever say anything interesting? I am good for rambling and little else!

I think under the duress she was under, from life, probably prevented that. From what I know, it was pretty serious - and good, in this case, that she was thinking and taking care of herself first and foremost. Granted, probably been ample time to have added Collector, or Andrea as an Admin in her absence, after she began recovering... But knowing Alm, if she couldn't get to the GK4 forums and do this - it wasn't because she neglected the site intentionally. To me, I believe whatever her reasons, they were justified, and the sad price is messages have gotten lost.

Do not mistake me. I'm sure that she didn't neglected the GK4 Campaign intentionally. Or the PQ site, for that matter. On that site, I have Admin rights for the forum, but I don't know a way to update the main site with reviews, walkthroughs, etc. When I asked her how I could do it, I didn't get a reply but I didn't push because I knew that she wasn't well and she wasn't trying to shrug me off or something. Her absence left a hole in the community, first and foremost personally, but unfortunately also technically if you understand what I'm saying.

Now that is a very true statement.

I do have the PQ files. I could setup a subdomain for you here. That way you would be able to add new content at least.
