Understandable. Different strokes, for different folks and all that.beigemore wrote:Yeah I spent a few weeks playing it, but just couldn't get into it. I was really excited when it was first released. I guess in general I think 3D fighters just feel weird. I can play Street Fighter 4 without issues, but contact between attacks and the other player just don't feel right to me like they do in SF2/SF3. MK9 was the same way. It's definitely not a bad game, it's just not for me.
SFIV and MK9 to me, feel very much the same. They've both returned (thankfully!) to side scrolling, but make the characters look more 3D (or better 2D, really).
My problem is being unable to BEAT anyone in MK9 online. Talk about a humbling experience!
