Installers work for Windows 7?

Post by Tinuviel »

Hey Collector,

Since I updated my OS recently, I was wondering if the installers we have for the various Sierra games work with Windows 7? I'm not entirely sure how different Vista is from 7, so...yeah.

And hi everyone.

Yes. They work for me, anyway.

Heya Tin! Long time, no post!

I am pretty sure that the installers do indeed work with Windows 7. But Collector can verify that. 8-)

Hi Tin. Good to see you around. I develop and test them on Win7. They are also compiled with the latest version of NSIS for Win7 compatibility.

Thanks guys. I'm very glad to hear that. I was worried I'd have to try and figure out how to dual-boot XP or something -- I don't trust myself to do that.

Please note, the installers cease working after 30 days of not posting on the forum.

It's true. I swear it.

More like the ceased the minute I started.

For some reason it won't accept that my CD is in the drive. I'm trying to install the Roberta Williams Anthology; it just keeps asking me for the CD even though I'm putting it in the drive.

What am I doing wrong? I've tried in C: drive, D: drive, nothing. Even running it as an administrator, it just won't do it. What am I doing wrong?

Let me check the script.

Edit: Re-download it.
