Space Quest 5 crashes

I have the 06' collection with the new installer.
When I try to open the cleaning closet after going to the classroom, a box pops up that says:
102.snd Not Found, then the game closes.

What can I do to fix it?

From what I have found:

The game dumps with the error message, type: "102.snd not found."
A. Correct the line in resource.cfg patchdir.

patchDir = .\PATCHES and what do I change -sorry

I have not had the error before - just found reference to it.

I guess, what you could do is locate the PATCHES directory in SPACE QUEST V, and change the directory to the FULL directory in the RESOURCE.CFG file...

So for example:

patchDir = C:\SIERRA\SQV\PATCHES


Collector, who is far more versed at making these games run than I am, may come on here and have other suggestions as well, if that doesn't work.
