One thing I always found somewhat annoying about QfG is the lack of consistency in the color-coding of pills and potions. They're neither consistent with each other (QfG3 has red=healing, brown=mana, blue=poison cure, while QfG4 has red=poison cure, yellow=healing) nor with the CRPG genre as a whole (red=healing, blue=mana is very much the standard).
So I decided to fix this.
Attached is a ZIP file containing patches (really a replacement view file for the inventory icons) for QfG3 and 4. Just stick them in your game directory (or its patches subdirectory, if there is one). These should make the color scheme consistent: red=healing, blue=mana, brown=poison cure. The icons might not be the prettiest, since I couldn't find a program to edit the VGA views properly. Instead, I used VIM to hexedit the files, just changing one color to another.
Let me know if they work and if this is something others are interested in.

Hello . I've been doing well, for the most part. I moved back to Germany last July.
I've been on this forum for a while, but I'm usually just lurking.
