I reached the point where I had to save one between Erana and Katrina from Hades. It took me more than half an hour to decide which one I really wanted to save, 'cause I really wanted to save them both. In the end, I chose Katrina, but I'm planning to replay the game just to save Erana and see the differences.

Anyway, wonderful, touching moments: both the girls' speech was so moving I was almost crying

You can also choose not to save either of them. The change is small, but you can still finish the game without their help.

I finished the game. I really liked the final Rite and the final confrontation with the Dragon. The actual finale, on the other hand, was a little too hurried in my opinion. Rakeesh, Raksha, Erasmus, Fenris... they didn't say a single thing, and - since it is the last time we can really see them - I'd hoped for a more enthralling conclusion, like the one seen in Trial by Fire, where everyone spoke about the Hero, thus building up a really epic finale.

Anyway, I really liked the game. It's not perfect, and not the best in the series, but nevertheless a very good end to a wonderful series.

And this could spark a very nice discussion about which game IS the best, but we won't go into that again ;)

I'm an opera singer. That means my voice soars over orchestras.

I loved QfG2. :D Being one of the earlier games I played in the series and having the Arabian Nights theme, I thought it was great at the time and I am still fond of it. I loved how the city felt like a real city and how you could (almost) talk to anyone at anytime about different topics instead of having to wait for the game deemed "the right time." It made the conversation feel more natural to me. It was also the first game where I experienced how different the three characters were in how they approached problems. I loved that feature of the game.

I've grown to appreciate QfG4 over the years as well, mainly for the degree to which you become involved in the characters' lives and the development of the Paladin character. Although not as broad in scope in many ways, it did go into greater depth in others. Frankly, I enjoy all of the QfG games for different reasons and I've never really felt the need to have one be a strong favourite over another. QfG2 has slightly more personal value for me just because it was the first time I really appreciated a number of defining features of the series and to me it still epitomises the series.

I'll gladly chirp in, long live the text interface, and long live TbF. Boo to error 52. Although we weren't going to talk about that. Ahem. Right.
