AGDI's King's Quest I Remake Re-released at last!

Post by MusicallyInspired »

AGDI had taken down the download links to KQ1VGA and KQ2VGA+ when QFG2VGA came out because they were updating them. KQ1VGA V4.0 is finally released now with brand new hand-painted backgrounds, the vocal talent of John Bell for the narrator lines (same guy who narrated Al Emmo), the option to remove dead end situations, updated and lip-synced dialogue portraits, and even diagonal walking animations for Sir Graham! It really is indeed an update. I encourage everyone to re-download and re-experience a great game one more time. They've also got a brand new website design up finally (not just the QFG2VGA site).

Watch for KQ2VGA+ V3.0 with similar updates in the next couple months!

Is it just me, or are some of the screens different now? Like with the gingerbread house...

The "no dead ends" mode is a good idea, especially for new KQ1 players or people playing KQ1 for the first time in a while.

(1) 1. Boomkat - Run Boy *10 weeks at #1*
(6) 2. Sugababes - No Can Do
(3) 3. Alex C. - Liebe Zu Dritt
(5) 4. Maksim - Luc^s^aja Hoc^'
(2) 5. Miro - Gubja Kontrol Kogato

I stated the updates in the first post.

And yes that hut scene is different. It's darker with a blue-ish hue to make the dark forest feel more eerie.

I like the Idea of having a Voice over Narrator it brings that KQ5 & KQ6 feeling to it.
