It is done. It was more involved than the Swamp demo. I suspect that it was released before the final release version of the game was done. Some of the event sounds are different. It was a bit buggy, probably because of this. I had to apply the part of the MOE13G patch is used by the first level. I also added Aroenai's millhouse patch, since it locked on me without it.

It also kept resetting my selected presets that makes it playable on most modern machines. Unlike the full version of the game if the marker for if the intro has played is set to false, it resets everything, so I set the flag to true. If you want to see the intro, you have to start it from the main menu.

You can find it on the demo page. One note, this is essentially the same as the Daventry level of the full game. Any saves made in the demo can be used in the full game.

No need to clear the cookies, but otherwise, exactly. I have my browser set to clear the cache every time I close it. Not only does it avoid the need to constantly refresh pages, but adds an extra layer of privacy by having less data that can be mined. The cache was needed in the old dialup days, but adds little noticeable performance gain for a broadband connection.
