I think he hides everything he gets in his basement.
Sadly I've been in selling mode for several years now. Even had to let go my autographed Mystery House a month ago... Unemployment stinks, especially when there's a mortgage to be paid. Hoping to turn things around soon and gradually re-acquire what I lost though some things are probably gone forever.

Then I looked in and can see that people have indeed been purchasing items :) Great!
You just need to come to the forum more often to make sure you're not missing out on the awesome.

Ouch. :( I'd be happy to own any copy of the game...

Sorry to hear that Rudy.
Still, was it necessary to sell your Sierra titles despite a temporary hardship? I mean selling an autographed copy, how much did that sell for?

It's not just a temporary setback, and it wasn't the only thing that hit me either over the past couple of years. Still, when things go better (hopefully soon), I'm hoping to reacquire my Mystery House - it's the most personal Sierra item I had. I had to sell it in a hurry last month to make the mortgage payment and could probably have gotten lots more for it, but at least it's still in the hands of our group of Sierra fans.

*Sigh* There was a time when I totally dominated this very thread, page after page of new acquisitions. It'll come back though, I'm far from done with collecting ;).

Thats the spirit! :)
Maintain a positive outlook and you'll soon get back to collecting again.

However, I don't think you "dominated" this thread with your acquisitions, you didn't beat me getting 4-5 moving boxes full of Sierra games for free! ;)

Should you be in trouble again in the future, you can always ask me, I might buy something you have and keep it until you're stable again, then you can buy it back from me perhaps. That way you'll get your original stuff back:)

Finally! The last german Sierra game version that was missing in my collection (All AGI & SCI Games, EGA & VGA, German & English, No collections). Took 2.5 years to find it. Together with the german version of Mixed up mother goose http://www.sierrahelp.com/forums/viewto ... 990#p50530 probably the rarest german ones there are.

Hi guys,

I´m from Germany collecting boxed point and click adventure games for PC.
My main focus is Sierra - have multiple versions of those.
Looking for all PC releases like KQIII EGA 5.25, EGA 3.5, EGA 3.5+5.25, VGA ... , EGA+VGA ... .

Here is a subtotal view on my collection:

There are some reasonable exceptions (non-PC) in my collection, e.g. the complete #Hi-Res adventure series, Softporn Adventure (signed by Chuck Benton) or international releases from all over the world.

And yes, I set up a retro PC few month ago with MT-32 and all that stuff.
Still like to play the games time to time :-)

Guess some of you are member of the Sierra Gamers facebook group too?
I´m quite active there (Paskarl).

My latest addition to my collection was the Portuguese version of Phantasmagoria 2 from Brazil:
It has the cool 3D effect like we know from other Sierra-US-releases.

Few more impressions:

Signed by Chuck:

Well.. there are hundreds of non-Sierra ones in my collection too but I guess those are not ment to be shown in this forum :-)
And besides adventures I collect a few games that I had a lot of fun with in the past like Commander Keen or Prince of Persia just to name two.

Welcome to SHP. The ones I am most jealous of is the black SQ1 with grid pattern and the Hi-Res stuff.

Great place to be :-)

Nah, no need for beeing jealous.
I see all our game as part of one huge crazy collectors-family ;-)

Awesome, Constantin35 !!
Have the same quest going on for a couple of months now!
Would you like to share your list? Would love to see which titles I´m still missing because I haven´t figured out a complete list of German releases.
Did you differentiate between "mit deutschem Handbuch", "Handbuch in Deutsch, Umtauschrecht auf Deutsche Version" and "komplett Deutsch"?
Or did you "just" aim for the "komplett Deutsch" ones??

I had noticed the water mark on your photos before. Seeing your avatar I now understand its reference.
