Talk about games or general tech issues that are not Sierra related.

Question re: Quest for Infamy

Post by Rath Darkblade »

Now then, it's been about 2 months since Quest for Infamy has been released. I've had a look at preliminary videos and reviews to gauge what it's like, and now I'd like your opinion. Have any of you played it? What did you think? Story-wise, graphics-wise and sound-wise, it appears to be fairly good; however, at least one reviewer has marked it down in terms of gameplay.

Has that also been your experience? What did you think? ;)

I haven't played it yet, and won't until it's bundled.

I've not played it yet either, because I am so far behind in SO many things I need to do. (I have entirely too many hobbies that consume way too much of my time!)

But from what I had SEEN, it seemed like it was going to be a solid game. Believe it's the same folks who did some Sierra fan made remakes, and finally decided to make their own game. So I would trust their judgement.

It has now been bundled, so I bought it. Haven't played yet, though.

I purchased the game off the big sale they're having over at http://www.gog.com

I played for about 5-10 minutes and that's it so far. I need to give it a chance but I just haven't felt like playing it yet. The sale runs through Nov. 25th, so it may not be a bad idea to pick it up when it hits >50%.

The bundle I linked is equivalent to 80% off, if you only buy it for QfI. Steam and DRM-free download.
