KQ 7 - Saved Game

Hi

I have been playing KQ7 and unfortunately my saved game has corrupted (when loading I get unmovable memory error).

Does anyone have any KQ7 saved games they could send me? Specifically the beginning/middle of chapter 3.

I can't find any online (I have checked the saved game page on this site).

It was from the steam KQ collection with the patches put on top. Playing on idos 2 on iPad.

It was working fine but must have quit to quickly and destroyed the save

By "patches" I assume that you are talking about my patch for the VU 2006 collection. I have been told that it works on the Steam version since it is pretty much the same as the VU collection. It would be the only way to play it in DOSBox without having Win3x installed.

Anyway, save games for SCI games are very versions specific. I don't have any save games for KQ7 on the site, given the nature of the save game system for KQ7 only allowing one save game slot for any given game and the way the game is divided into chapters. You could just start a new game beginning at chapter three.

Sorry yes - I meant the collective patch for the KQ collection on your site and the iDos is effectively DOSBox.

I completely missed the fact you could start on a specific chapter! That's perfect - I can start again from chapter 3. I just couldn't face doing all of chapter 1 & 2 again
