...I'm chuffed... really.
Just a few days ago I checked upon their site, looked at the forum and noticed somebody had made a topic about my GK3 research. So I joined, said hi and did some more researching for the Mysterious Bink Files, and all of a sudden the forum closes! :(

I can understand it though - it had been a while since the last discussion there, but the remarks on the Moebius and GK20 sales are not heartening.

(continues working on her GK fanfic)
There's a new script around: PHANTASMAGORIA - A Puzzle Of Flesh! Check the Script Party topic in the Bard's Forum!

Yeah. I had hoped with the surge of successful "Sierra related" Kickstarters - that we would see a return to the era of adventure games...

It feels like gaming in general - has declined. But maybe I am old and no longer have my pulse on that market.

I feel the same! I'm 37 and sometimes I seem like a bitter old man, and perhaps I am!!! Being stuck in a puzzle for weeks or months was a normal thing in the "golden age" of adventure gaming, and when you finally solved a puzzle the sense of accomplishment was tremendous, but now everything seems to be shallow and futile, adventure gaming (and everything around it) is handled in the same logic as a fast food restaurant, very quick and with low quality - people don't want to be frustrated by complex puzzles, but instead want a fast reward with very little effort involved and I think they've (we all have) been conditioned for that! It keeps the financial machine ticking by increasing consumption.

I don't know... everything's faster nowadays, most people have very little time to sit down and think and instead look for more immediate sources of pleasure, and before they know it... this happens... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lle9QD93kA0
