I used the Gabriel Knight 2 HD/DVD Installer found here http://gkpatches.vogons.org to create a single dvd version of the game from my original CDs. It works great on 32-bit machines, but fails to run after install on 64-bit machines.
I found a link on this site http://www.sierrahelp.com/Games/Gabriel ... 2Help.html with a DOSBox installer to solve the 64-bit machine problem. However the DOSBox installer does not like the single DVD delivery of the game. It keeps asking for CD1.
Is there a way to use this DVD media of the game on a 64bit computer?
Thanks

Why not just use the original CDs? You only need them to install the game.

They are packed away in a box, not readily accessible
Re: Gabriel Knight 2 DVD on 64-bit
The installer is specifically designed for the official release on 6 CDs. It expects to find the resources it requires with the names as they exist on each of the CDs. It would require too much of a rewrite to accommodate a DVD made from hendroz's Win only installer.

Ok. Thanks.

Note that you will not need the CDs to play once installed.
