Wow! I just found out about this!

I bought the Gold Rush Remake on Steam awhile ago, but I haven't tried it yet. I didn't know that the same team was working on a sequel. This does look kind of cool - hopefully they do a good job with it!

Gold Rush 2 was supposedly released on 9/22. Did anyone pick it up?

They must have just changed it. Because I was just on the site when I posted it. I also sent them an email (right before posting) asking if it was released yet. So I wonder if that made them update it?

Yup. They replied to me:

Yes. We had delayed the game into autumn and didn’t do that change in our shop.

I have the boxed version of this on order; I need to hurry up and play the remake and see how it transitions in GR2.

Oh! I can do that. (At least the scans!) I've barely played the remake so far - still in the city.

Which for us 'mericans is 2-10-2017.

That's a pretty big delay from the previous release date.

I don't mind too much - with my hands in so many cookie jars - I've not had time to play a game in awhile. (Well, other than Gears of War 4... but that's not a game... it's a way of living... and saving the world... )

Today Sunlight Games has announced that Gold Rush! 2, the sequel to Gold Rush! Anniversary, will soon be released on Steam. Shortly the Steam-page will be go online. The trailer will then be released too. The box version will be released short after the release on Steam.

There are news regarding Gold Rush! 2...
We have announced today, that Gold Rush! 2 will be released on Steam soon.
Very soon, the “coming-soon”-Steam-page will be go live. There you can find all information regarding the release including the release-date.
With the launch of the Steam-page, we will update our websites too and publish the trailer.
The box version will then be released short after the release on Steam.
We are in the final phase of the development. The game gets its last polishing, before the game will then again finally be tested.
