King's Quest V cd works very well, it dies at the same part the floppy version did a while ago though. The witch doesn't trigger in the forest, I haven't checked to see if the maze is fixed in the floppy version yet since they changed the save format and I have to play through the whole thing again. King's Quest VI has been progressing nicely, it's still very glitchy (and crashes right before captain saladin is supposed to come out) but at least the text boxes don't smear all over the screen anymore.

I tried SQ3 and the text boxes and cursours are both transparent. Odd for one of the earlier SCI0 games.
