Favorite Sierra Game Cover?

Post by Tawmis »

I can't remember if we've asked this before (I did a search, but it pulls up way too many unrelated results) - so if we have asked it before, well - maybe things have changed!

So of all your Sierra games - which one has your favorite cover?

For me, I have always loved King's Quest IV's cover.

I even wish they released the "original" cover.

The simplicity of the cover for The Beast Within has always been one of my favorite pieces of cover art for any game, Sierra or not.

I also love the original art for QFG1/Hero's Quest.

Simplistic elegance and an unlikely attractive colour combination.

For me, honorable mention would be:

I had this as my phone's "wallpaper" back in the days of flip phones.

I've always loved the LB2 cover. The art, the sleek lines, and just the whole Egyptian theme of it. I especially love the imposing pharaoh head as an "all knowing" focal point in the background as a potential murder scene is being witnessed.

The cover of the game with the greatest EGA art of them all, bar none.

I always forget that one since I've never played the Laura Bow games, but that cover is absolutely one of the best.

It's very Guardians of the Galaxy before there was Guardians of the Galaxy (well, movie version of GotG).

Always thought it'd make a great book cover too.

It's simplistic, but clever.

It's what spawned my Final Soul text adventure game thingie.

Time to track down a copy. As I said, Douglas Herring's artwork in it is stunning. All in glorious EGA.
With Ken Allen's great Roland sound track.

And what is a Sierra game without its moments of humor.
