If misapplied, but there is no need to add them again.

Right. Well, I have no desire to repatch the games, but it's hard to know exactly what's been applied and what hasn't. For example. There is a patch for KQ6 which makes it so that the music volume doesn't lower when speech plays. That wasn't added with your installers.

If I misapplied the patch, would it be pretty evident?

Try it. It is not that big of a deal to backup the installation, first.

One more question -

Some of the patches say to install the game with the "full install" option before applying the patch. So, can I assume that if I've installed the game using your installers, that it's equivalent to a "full install" and that all of the requisite files that the patcher might need should be there?

Also, I've tried it on a few games. A couple have just had replacement driver files, some had a "sierra patcher.exe" that you run inside of the install directory, and some use this PPF patcher. I've done them all and the games still launch and have sound and seem to work. I'm more concerned that I might have caused an issue that might not immediately be identifiable. I just want the best sound possible in the games.

Full install is just an option with some CD-ROM based games. If you want a small footprint on your hard drive you can select it, but you will need the CD(s) to play. If you want to experiment go ahead, but you may want to backup the installed folder first.
