To me it looks like the Door to Rosella's Room when she is a troll in KQ7.

Nope! Adeyke was right in deducing it is an Ooga Booga screen.

Ok then. It could be the entrance to the Crypt that you use the Firecracker on as Valanice in Chapter 5 to help the Lord of Ooga Booga. The area with the crying Lady in Black is protecting.

I has been a while since I have played it, but it seems like there should be more inventory items to be at that point of the game.

NO! :)

The game has you lose most items actually, though the ones that stay are extremely useless (except for the comb).

Perhaps only the horn and the piece of dress can be extra depending on your path in the first chapter by the point Valanice gets to Ooga Booga. If you retrieved the horn before you helped Collin Farwalker, and then selected the rope as a reward, you'd have just the horn extra (being forced to use the dress to defy the scorpion). If you selected the pesticide, regardless of having retrieved the horn before, and used the pesticide on the scorpion you'd have the horn and a piece of dress as well. If you chose the rope while not having retrieved the horn before that, the horn is lost to you; the piece of dress is then used to defy the scorpion, and you end up in the situation above. Don't even know if it is obligatory to pick up the fur before part V, can't remember that part. Also don't know if you can save up the pesticide for later, never tried that; could be possible if the game allows you to flag the scorpion even after choosing the pesticide.

Part V starts off with Valanice holding or soon holding;
- Rubber chicken
- Pot
- Jackalope Fur
- Magic Statuette
- Comb
- Stick
- Moon-cheese

The order of events leading up to the crypt;
- Rubber chicken is used to send the moon back into the sky before it runs off and Archduke Fifi le Yipyap sets you free
- Statuette is traded for Lycanthropy potion at the Eel's
- The fur is used with the potion to cross the Werewoods
- Rosella is magically missed off-screen walking in the exact opposite direction but taking the exact same route
- This already leaves you with the useless KQ-version of Rock, Paper, Scissors; Stick, Pot, Comb.
- Get bone from Ghoul Kid's house
- Give bone to dog to obtain medal
- Give medal to Elspeth Tsepish to have her evaporate
- Take firecracker from Ghoul Kids trolling the Cat-o-8-lives-left
- Lower DOSBox cycles to have it not blow up in your face with every step you take
- Enter crypt with Stick, Pot, Comb! :lol:

It's the NES version of KQ5, showing the bandit treasure fortress in the desert. I suppose that would have been quite hard if I weren't already aware that that version existed.

Correct. Yeah there might be some people unaware of the NES version of KQ5.

Not ringing a bell. I'll have to guess. Is it KQ5, the harpy island?
