I have to admit I strongly dislike "the additional" characters concept (Link, Spawn, Darth Vader, the one apprentice dude...)... I just don't think it fits with the rest of the game and mythos.

But meh, it brings in sales.

You're right -- it doesn't really fit. But that doesn't make it any less fun. ;)
